If you eat a healthy diet, its actually good to feed your dogs what you eat.
Its a damn sight cheaper than designer dog food too.
My dogs eat lots of fish.
I specifically keep my extra baitfish and fish scraps to cook for them in my pressure canner.
They love it, and it is very good for them, as they can eat them guts, scales, bones and all.

When I'm done butchering a deer, if I threw the bones to the dog, she'd throw them back at me...

Put them bones in a pressure canner and cook them down. Bone broth is nutrition packed.
With all of this China Flu shit going on and on and on, production lines shut down or restricted for the Pandemic for all kinds of things , not only dog food, but many other things, it will trickle down the supply chain to the point that there is a shortage of everything you can think of.
It is just a matter of time as to how much product was in the supply chain when China Flu hit and and how bad production of those products was allowed to go on.

My dogs get select table scrap also, everything from fish to potatoes, rice, beans etc. Pretty much the healthy stuff we would eat. They also get Pedigree dog food as a normal course. Scaps just suplement that. The dogs are healthy according to our vet, they are however active and lean so no worries about them getting fat 10 year old bassett runs around like hes four. They also are cathing wildlife to suplement them selves. Squirrels, Chipmunks, Opossums. Rabits and the coon dog occasionally gets a coon.
