Dangerous shotgun! Typhoon F12, X2. with bolt open, lay the gun on it's left side, and the slide closes by itself. if loaded could cause an accidental firing.

Well ya, it's a Turkish POS AR style shotgun. Don't insert a full mag then lay a locked open gun down. The bolt release is on the left side of the gun, an AR will do it too FYI, but the standard release paddle is very minimalist so it's not as much of an issue
Well no shit sherlock. It's an AR pattern shotgun. The bolt doesn't close by itself. It closes when the weight of the gun is on the bolt release and the bolt release trips. Which is what happens when you press the bolt release with your hand.
How does the bolt closing cause the gun to fire accidentally?

Maybe the trigger gets accidentally pulled when the bolt is accidentally released causing it to accidentally fire….Sounds like an argument from the Alec Baldwin School of Firearms Functionality.

I have not posted much. Life gets in the way. I used to post more frequently, but that was long ago. I have read here and there. I am an avid shooter who knows my way around firearms. I do NOT have accidental discharges. I have never seen such an unfriendly response to a post. I know AR's have a similar bolt release, but I have NEVER had a bolt close when I laid an AR down. The release paddle on this gun is very large and has no protection. I know that even if a round is left in the gun, probably the worst that might happen is a round chambers, but is not likely to fire. But, with careless shooters, it may be an issue. I have NOT had this issue with other AR pattern shotguns. I don't have any use for them myself, but many like them. I handle guns every day at my job. I thought a post might be helpful. I guess I'll keep potentially troublesome issues to myself in the future.
