Daniel Defense DDM4V7

You really can't go wrong with any of DD's guns...........they are solid in all ways & the company is top shelf, IMO.

Don't know of any that are super accurate tackdrivers, but all I've seen have been fine for anyone wanting a good reliable rifle that will hover around 1-1.5 MOA, sometimes a little better.

List is around $1800 or so on that rifle with street prices around $1500'ish.

In that rough price range, BCM is also a comparable & well built rifle as is the Sig 400 series.

I'll never support DD because their cuck leader Marty Daniel supported the FIX NICS gun control bill following the stoneman douglas shooting. They can suck a big fat dick.

Go with BCM or LMT. Companies that actually support your second amendment rights. DD offers literally nothing over any other rifle in it's price range.

I have a DDM4v7 it’s a decent “battle” rifle, if you’re looking for a sub MOA gun out of the box look elsewhere.
That being said, it’s a nice looking piece and I’ve never once had a function issue with it. Ended up putting an 18” Criterion nitrided barrel and a rifle length gas system on it, tightened up the groups and smoothed the cycling.

Barnes makes a good rifle, not great, but better than average for sure.

I don't think they really offer anything over a DD, BCM or a Sig in that price range, though.

Not sure what you're really looking for, or what you want to do with it, but if you really want a "battle" rifle, step up to a KAC.............I have 3 & they're superb. Soft shooting, relaible & the best rail system available, IMO. Others may disagree.................

I've built a lot of rifles & they all are as good or better than most of what you can buy, but if I really want one to go to war with, it would be one of my KAC's.

Best rail system available? I think one that’s a part of your upper would be superior to any KAC. (LMT MRP)

I got back an LMT-ish from a Marine friend that decided he had “too many “ AR-pattern rifles. This rifle, built on a no name lower with great internal parts and a LMT CQB 16” upper, was mine and I stupidly traded it away.

In a rare stroke of genius, I decided that instead of buying another rifle to replace my old rifle, I’d just ask if he wanted to sell the rifle back to me.

He did, I’m happy.

Back to living large, and all that.
