Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I am looking at one in 6.5 creedmoor with the varmint contour barrel. I was also looking at the Christensen arms chassis gun but I'm not impressed with that one MOA guarantee.
I’d pass. Ugly and non ergonomic stock. Ryan Cleckner reviewed and wasn’t too fond of it overall. DD makes outstanding ARs. I don’t get it...AR companies want to make bolt rifles and bolt action / pistol companies want to make ARs now.

When your company can live or die by the stroke of a pen, it is not a bad idea to diverge your marketable items that will hopefully let you keep your doors open if that day ever comes. While DD makes decent government contracts, they would loose a lot of business. Unfortunately, they didn't do enough R&D with their rifle. Just about every person who has held one or shot it says don't buy it. The idea is cool, but you are limited to their barrels, or custom order from a barrel maker.
Now, as far as why bolt gun companies would get into the AR market, right now? There is money to be had, may as well tap into market if your name is big enough.
“Wheels are in motion, Mike. As discussed, we plan on sending you a Delta 5 PRO w/ an 18” 6.5 Creedmoor barrel.” So responded Daniel Defense’s Law Enforcement Sales Manager to my question about what rifle they were sending for a review, and for me to use during a sniper school being held at The […]

I'm not in the market, but I think this is leagues ahead of the DD Delta 5. It seems like they listened to the complaints. Not saying this should be the official rifle of any series, but it's pretty nice.

While better than the original this is barely better then the larue abortion. There are all some weird ergonomics going on for a comp gun like that double step down in front of the mag well. And from what I've been told by purple that have shot it the action is still far from desirable. For the money there are far superior options
I really want to like the Delta 5... I Iike the user changable barrel (it would feel like a more practical way to get into 6.5cm than buying a whole separate rifle).
Hate the stock, and I don't care for a chassis. I wish they had a regular looking stock with maybe an adjustable cheek piece. And a lighter contour option for barrels, so that they could have a real "field gun."

We shot the original Delta 5 at PRE in 2019. Was not impressed with action or accuracy. IMO the 700 based Christiansen action doesn’t hold a candle to a Tikka. Take a look at a CTR and a KRG Bravo. IMO you be better off and money ahead.
