David Tubbs nosering tool

Hi guys.
The other day, a friend told me about this tool.
He shoots a 338 lapua with 300 gr lapua sceenar and has had some expansion issues.
Has anyone tried this tool?
Does it really work?

There's been some discussion on here about it that I've seen before. I think it does work but I have no experience with it. Might try and search the discussion and just see what Tubbs brings up ect.

I would point/ tip bullets before that.

I wouldn't point bullets to solve an expansion issue, but I would probably shoot something other than scenars if I needed expansion.

I've shot some nosering'd DTACs, it does lower BC a couple points. I'm not sold on them being more consistent, and I didn't get to try them on game.

I'm personally put off by the fact its a license for the tool, but then again I don't have a Prometheus either....

We found it quite interesting to use good bullets and make them work for hunting.
Although it is a fairly expensive tool.
