Found a guy wanting to sell a full power DBAL A2

I know a lot of the full power stuff is "misplaced" from military but not sure how to tell or if you can tell or if it matters?

Also what would be a good price for one in very good condition?

There are some legit A2’s out there that were demos and surplus from the switch to A3.

Only way to know for sure is to get the SN and find someone willing to run it for you either at Steiner or on the GOV system. Steiner can tell you if it shipped on a PO or not.

Would Steiner not be able to verify if it was mil surplus? Because they couldn't verify the s/n on the phone but he sent a bunch of pics if its a knock off its the best I've ever seen

I think the Steiner rep didn't understand the question you asked.

Horta is talking about the difference between Grey Market FP systems and Black Market FP systems. One is ok to posses and the other gets you a visit from people who dress in nice suits and sometimes like to pat you down before they start talking to you. I think you get this but the Steiner rep didn't. Maybe you could better clarify it for them?

Grey market-contractors or dealers selling systems they had to individuals and/or those individuals selling those systems later themselves.

Black Market- comes from the military or another governmental agency that lacks a sense of humor when someone takes their stuff.

No they actually couldn't find the s/n but I think I figured it out. It is legit but its an older one. Its a ldi which made the dbal originally and Steiner bought them out in 2014/2015 so they probably didn't transfer over their records to their systems so they don't have records of their s/n's
