For a standard AI mag what is the max COAL that will feed correctly in a short action? From what I can read it is 2.90? What are peoples experiences with Accurate Mags? Accurate is quoting 3.05”? Who else makes longer mags?
The Accurate mags are the same interior dimensions as AICS mags. Accurate mags are available without the interior plate. To function properly, the cartridge oal has to be shorter than the interior dimensions of the magazine. 2.9-2.95 is about it.
Seekins has a longer setup, proprietary to their bottom metal.
Many 700 actions are not opened up to accept more then 2.865" from the mag, which has been the limit my aics mags fed to. Might want to check that too.

Big +1. I had to open up my feed ramp to get longer rounds to feed.
Just wanted to add, you may be able to tell by opening the bolt on an empty mag and looking down through the ejection port.. If you can see the top of the plate at the front of the mag, you should have clearance.
Fwiw, I have ran 2.875" outta my 5rd AICS in a factory Rem700 with no problems but not any longer than that. Those didn't float in the 10rd mag though, so now I load all of them to 2.860" for reliability.
