Suppressors Deadair Sandman TI?

Hey guys, I stepped into the NFA game last year and bought the infamous AAC 762 SDN 6. It is definitely not a can for precision shooting. So I am looking to buy another can for my bolt gun. I am looking at the Sandman TI due to the price tag of only $700, but I don't want to make another mistake and buy a can that turns my 1/2" into a 2" gun.

So do any of you have a Ti on your precision bolt gun? Has it helped the groupings or hindered them in any way?

I'm only looking at this from an economical standpoint, but if I have to I will just pony up the money for a TBAC can and call it a day.

Pony up and get a TBAC. All of dead air's cans are superb, but TBAC is built for your intended purpose. I have both and use TBAC on my precision rifles.

This is true, I have several cans but I bought a TBAC 6.5 Ultra 9 for my precision rifle. They are light weight and have a repeatable mounting system. The Sandman TI is a great can but a little on the heavy side for a precision rifle. If you wait until Black Friday most big online dealers do 10-15% off any in stock cans, that would put an Ultra closer in price to the Sandman.

The Sandman Ti is a great can. Accuracy and repeatability are not hindered at all. It is a little heavier than a TBAC, because it has stellite baffles and it full auto rated. To the ear, sounds seems to be on par with the Ultra 7. If you are on a budget, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it. I love my lightweight TBAC cans, but I understand that they are a bit expensive for some.

Mines in the safe at the local dealer. Waiting on the ATF still. I did of course hold the can and I'm damn happy with my purchase so far. come maybe January I'll get to throw it on my Creedmoor.

Update: I just left my dealer after purchasing a TBAC 6.5 Ultra 7. Super pumped!

I have both a Dead Air Ti and a TBAC Ultra 7. Both have been fantastic. The Dead Air is a very quiet can and accuracy has always seemed to improve with it as it is a direct thread. The TBAC is also super accurate and quiet. Anyone who says the Sandman Ti is not a precision can has never used one.
