Rifle Scopes Deal Alert: Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 EBR-2D MOA Reticle FFP

Anybody knows what the EBR-2D MOA Reticle is? All I was able to find is that it is an update of the 2C reticle exclusively for Midway. Could not pass the deal.

Scope arrived this afternoon. One day early! The elevation numbers as previously mentioned are on the side while on the 2C are centrally located.

Made in the Philippines like all non Razor Vortex. 25 moa per revolution. Good warranty although the best warranty is the one that is never used.

It looks like the center is not open as well like the 2C reticle, am I correct? I'm actually hoping it's not the open center.

So what's the consensus on these? I have been looking at the $1000-ish scopes, both new and used. I am used to MOA, but understand PRS (which I want to try out) is highly MIL based. Seems like a solid choice for my first FFp scope for the money. However, I would rather buy once, cry once.

I just received my 3-15 a couple of days ago, so far I'm very happy with my purchase. Now I will say. I haven't got it mounted and done any sort of tracking testing, but just from taking it out of the box the initial eye test is good. The only complaint I have to date is the illumination knob is pretty tight, but it does work correctly... I honestly think if it tracks like it's supposed to, this is a steal for a FFP optic.

Snagged a 5-25 mrad a few back finally ran a tracking test the other day. Like a moron I picked the worst coldest day to do it, so it was quick and I just tested two shots on the vertical at 2 and 4 mils at 100 and wrapped it up. Shot a sighter at the marked 2mil pastey and got on with it.
Pretty darn good.

I have had my 3-15 mrad for about a week now. Just got it mounted up and sighted in a couple days ago. I think i need to adjust my load some because the load has not been grouping as well lately. I mounted it in a warne 20moa mount and after zeroing i have 17.4 mils of adjustment up, which is a ton for what i will be shooting on my 5.56 AR. I ran the elevation turret up and down from top to stop several times and all in between and when finished i fired another group and it was on top of my original zero. Over all im very pleased with the scope and will suit my needs just fine on an AR.

Has anybody received one of the 5-25 x50's recently? I ordered Wednesday the 2nd, with shipment scheduled for Thursday. Order is till processing as of Friday night, and now the Web page says no longer available.

UPS managed to lose my new 3-15, I was looking forward to comparing it w/ my other gen 2 PST 3-15 w/ 2C reticle. I'm really hoping that it truly is identical except for the minor reticle changes. My year old 3-15 really has great glass for the $$, plays nicely w/ NV clip-ons too! For $675, this was a no-brainer.
