    Here is a story for those who are always bitching that the SEAL's spend to much time in the media. Navy Chief Special Warfare Officer Joseph John Schmidt III has been living dual lives. Schmidt is also Jay Voom, the actor in at least 29 porn flicks during the past seven years, from “Apple Smashing Lap Dance” to “Strippers Come Home Horny From the Club.”

    Who cares about the pension he probably earns more sticking it around that he ever did shooting... At least this guy is officer material (while young fun and games aka shooting and now work fucking around) as he shows intellect.


    PS: Now that i've re-read it i think he actually is not an officer material by new standards :).

    The exact same thing happened to me. Fucking lifers took my stripes and Article 15ed my ass. And this was before VHS. CO took his wife to the XXX drive-in and she recognized me.

    I guess if he had been doing Gay Porn they'd have made him an admiral in the 'new Navy.'

    Damn, when they find out Rob Smith is making the best watches on the planet in his spare time... they'll probably sierra-charlie his ass too.

    Another casualty of a peacetime military with too much time on its hands and higher ups trying to make a name for themselves via fuck-fuck games. What I want to know is, who is the fucking rat that pushed the issue? A JAG trying to make a name for themselves? Religious right group outing service members? The latest NCIS social media task force going down on another "hardened" criminal? Bluewater sailor full of professional jealousy and a little dick making a stink? Interestingly enough, this whole situation would never have seen the public eye had they kept it on the DL. Way to go NSWC PAO, between this and the drug issue, they're batting .000 for April when it comes to public image.

    Unfortunately for the Chief, they have him dead to nuts if they want to based solely on the adultery. It's funny, they only push that charge when they want to, and typically only within the enlisted and company grade ranks. I seriously hope the Admiral of NSWC throws this whole thing out, whatever comes of it, and lets the man ride off into the sunset of retirement at grade as he has very much earned.

    I wonder if it is really adultery if the wife knew about it and it was only acting. As it seems he did get paid and pay taxes on the money it's hard to argue that he did not have a job, so it seems that their argument is that the chain of command did know and tacitly approved. They are also trying for a side order of sympathy that they only had to moonlight because Millitary pay sucks. While that might play ok with the public, I don't see it doing well at court.

    UCMJ doesn't care about anything other than 1: Was any of them married at the time, but not to the service member? and 2: Was the service member a willing and knowing participant? Combination of those two = grounds for adultery. Permission from spouse, acting, all irrelevant if they want to push it.

    I've seen more than a few go down for adultery. One even involved a buddy of mine getting burned for banging the legally separated wife of a USAF CPT while he was single. Separated was still "married" enough to land him in the brig for six months (released after three for good conduct) and reduction to E-1.

    Suprising lack of judgement shown (not because he is a SEAL, but because he is an adult) - plain and simple. Accountability is a bitch.

    Military justice has never been consistent. That is the rub. Assume at your own risk. As for the Navy, she has a solid history of eating her own. As a result for the Chief, his choices were stupid is as stupid does by giving the wrong person a golden shower. Also, getting yourself into financial trouble can also be applied. The couple made some super stupid financial decisions and resorted to porn as an attempt to get out of it. There is no reason to feel sorry for them. There is more to the story than some lifer getting fucked out of his pension.

    Another thing, in my 8 years I dont remember CID/JAG getting involved in a dam thing unless a commander thought something was wrong and asked them to come look at a situation. JUst think, Lindsey Graham is a fkn JAG, I think that the shit tone of NCIS bullshit shows has these fkrs thinking they are somebody other than a tool for commanders to make sure shit is on the up and up. Sure the cheif may have fkd up but hell man, banging shit on video is not a dam crime, stupid yes but come on.
