just to do some target shooting mostly, but i plan to hunt with it too...

i chose this style of build particularly because i like pistol grip rifles over conventional stocks

You will need to modify the pic rail on the tube to be able to mount the scope, about 1-2 inches will need to be cut off in order to get the correct eye relief. Also did you get the pic rail installed on the butt stock to mount the mono pod? The gun looks great as i have one also but in 243.
