I tried looking around but haven’t seen many reviews on the new defiance 75 degree bolts? Does anyone have any personal experience with them? Im considering an anti-x with one for a hunting rifle build.

I thought @Lowlight did a review when they first became available.

I switched to Manner's LRH stocks, so I haven't had to order a replacement, even though I want to try one in the 280 Ackley to see if I can switch to a different/lighter stock.

I've been considering picking one up for my 6.5 PRC but I too was hoping to hear some feedback from others before I spent the coin. I might just have to take a chance and grab one.

I saw someone in another thread mentioned they weren’t happy with the cam pressure needed to close the bolt. I am going to wait and see what my clearances are like with the 90 and my optic setup before I rush out and drop $500+ on a new bolt to save 15 degrees.

I spoke with @Deep South Tactical about the 75 degree before I ordered mine and he told me the same thing about the “heavy bolt”. His recommendation is why I went with the 90 degree on my build he has now. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Thats helpful. Ive been contemplating another fuzion action or the anti x mainly due to the 75 degree bolt. If the bolt lift is noticeably stiffer the choice is easy.

I bought two the week they were released.

First impressions, about 20% heavier than the 90 degree.

Personally, unless you had a specific use case, it's a pass for me. I wont be ordering any more or configuring any new actions with them.
