Hi gents,
This is my first post on here, and I'm in need of some wisdom here. Currently I'm about to have a custom built off a defiance rebel action. It'll be the first real custom I've ever had made despite that I've been shooting my whole life...
Right now I have a remmy 700 that I've done up myself. It has the original bolt and has been microslicked. I'm pretty quick on the bolt in regards to cycle as a habit, as in about .5 of a second.
Will I have issues with a tighter tolerance of a defiance? I was also going to get it cerakoted and microslicked. I know for instance that the GAP Templar has this done to it. Is it going to have a tendency to jam up during my "grip and rip"? Should leave it uncoated? It is to be a tactical rifle and I need it as a work rifle ( I get alot of pigs give me grief - I'm in Australia...)
Also I have a 700 action I bought for the build before I found I could a defiance here. I was going to put a ptg bolt to it. How would it compare to this particular question?
Cheers
