Primarily looking to trade for a 338 build of similar quality. I bought this rifle from here roughly a year ago, sighted in and shot a total of 15 rounds. I still have 185 rounds of 180 ELD-M Gunwerks ammo and will include that in the sale or trade (185 rounds, 15 pieces of brass). This rifle is an absolute blast to shoot and sub 1/2 moa consistently. The reason for the trade is that I do not reload, and as much as I love the 7 SAUM, it is not realistic for me to keep the rifle around in hopes that maybe I'll find an ammo source. Gunwerks, recently due to a shortage of materials, began exclusively selling the majority of their ammunition to Gunwerks rifle owners. This left me in the dust with the one load I could rely on. Anyhow, if anyone has a 338 or another 'mainstream' long action hunting caliber in similar quality build, shoot me an offer! Some of the photos used in the ad were pirated from the previous ad, I can't take photos worth a damn and the rifle hasn't changed any, it's sat in my safe for the duration of the last year (my apologies in advance to the previous owner!)
*Action: Defiance Deviant Ultralight short action.
*Barrel: Proof Carbon Sendero 1:8.4 twist at 24". Muzzle threaded 5/8x24 with Thunderbeast CB30 brake
*Stock: Manners EH1 in Elite Swamp bedded with the action. Has a front Pic rail for a bipod and flush cups left side and bottom.
*Bottom metal: American Precision Arms RTG with their excellent mag release that's integrated into the trigger guard.
*Trigger: Jewel trigger set at 1.5 lbs
*Cerakote: Elite Smoke on all metal
*Magazine: Will come with one 3 round Accurate Mag.
*Weight: without mag or scope is 6.8 lbs. So it's a nice easy to carry weight for a long range hunter.
*Other: The only marks on this rifle include the usual brass rash behind the ejection port where spent brass hits the action, and I had to remove some of the finish on the bipod rail to get on of my bipods to slide over it. There are also a couple of slight scratches on the bolt knob. All of this can be seen in the pictures.
