They dont make a XM mag…they are longer than standard short action.

I would like a 5 round mag if you come across any.

No one makes them currently but If you have 10 rd. Kinport Peak Rifles will cut them down to 4/5rd mags for $100. A $200 mag all said and done is expensive but not sure why no one has made a 5 rd xm mag.

Give MDT a call. They make them for Defiance as I was told by MDT. I picked 2 XM magnums up 3 weeks ago, they had issues with thier webpage and weren't listed but had them.

No one of my buddies has a machine shop abd i am going to attempt to do one myself as I have 3-10 rd mags but i did talk to the guy on the phone and he has done a bunch of them and was recommended by the original creator of the Inflection mags. The Inflection magazine patent was purchased by another company and is supposed to start making the 5 rd mags for the XM actions but still hasnt been done. I have been trying to find a hunting mag for a while for this gun.

9 months later and we still can't buy a hunting legal magazine for an XM action. Cody at Defiance specifically told me not to worry about magazines, that they will be available in a few months. I'm still salty about all of this.

I made my own…4 rd. Kinport Peak Rifles will also take a 10rd mdt mag and cut it down but at the end of the day a mag with cost you $200 for it
