Deleting Notifications

I really love this new/old site, but ...

How do you delete notifications permanently?

I keep getting a notice I have a "notification" but it is the one I've already deleted in every way I can figure out on this forum.

Same here. I'm also not getting new notifications.

No problem getting new notifications, I just can't delete any of them and so I have a constant new notification button "on" and it never goes away.

This happens to me also. Not every time, though. Sometimes notifications stay dismissed and other times not.

Downtown, yes, exactly. Ironically, about an hour after I posted my question, suddently I was able to delete messages and notifications, very strange

My notifications are now up to 11, and they won't go away.

And...I can delete notifications, no problem, but can't get an old message to go away.

Anyone know what's up and why this is happening? Is there an Admin or Moderator in the house?

I have it appear it is not deleting this stuff but it really is...

When deleting the list, watch the page number, if that is moving, even though you see the same thing, it is working

Don't forget to delete sent and trash, then try logging out and back in, that should fix it

Having the same notification problem. Also can't log out or delete posts. Editing posts sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Try the unsubscribe button at the top of every thread and uncheck the box in the user settings that automatically subscribes you to the thread. Took me a while to figure it out and I'm no longer getting notifications.

Seems to be working for me, but last night something else funky started happening. If I try to open a new session on the forum, it won't let me log in, but I can go to an existing thread in the forum and get in that way. Happens both with Firefox and Safari.

We updated the forum software yesterday, if using Chrome manually go through the advanced settings and delete your cookies for snipershide.com, www.snipershide.com, and www.snipershide.com. All other browsers seem to be work correctly after flushing cache.
