Awesome, glad to hear, feel better!I have one in hand (thanks to Don at @Annex Defense) and once I kick this nasty cold I will get it out and put it through my testing scenarios but trying to deal with optics and resolutions charts while battling a migraine has not been a very good recipe in the past . Initial impressions are very positive.
Did you get the tree reticle? The illumination is pretty bright on them. Wondering how the other reticle is with looks like only the center dot illuminated?Just got mine from annex yesterday, have not had time to side by side it with anything just played with it the house some. Seems solid so far.
Edit to add I got it because of Ilya's brief review also. Was leaning towards the Mark 5 at first.
No I got the DLR-1. Need to get it out in daylight but it is not going to be daylight bright by any means on lower magnification.Did you get the tree reticle? The illumination is pretty bright on them. Wondering how the other reticle is with looks like only the center dot illuminated?
Which reticle do you have? Mine is the DLR-1. I am hoping you have the DPRC-1 for what you are describing.I just took out my 3.5-21x Delta outside since the sun broke though and the illumination at max was easily visible against a dark background on min magnification. I compared it with my 6-36x Gen 3s and the Delta illumination at min magnification was a touch brighter and way brighter than my T6Xi. My S8 Sightron was a little brighter though. The good thing is CA was well controlled even with all the snow here - better than my T6Xi.
In your review you mention it wins in terms of adjustment, FOV, close focus, overall mag, but I'm curious how you felt about the eyebox (6x erector vs. Leupy's 5x?) and turrets (no locking turret, Leupy has that quick locking). Those two qualities and now the PR2-mil reticle are the main draws of the Mk5 to me for a gas gun. If the Stryker's eyebox was just as good and reticle was workable at the low end of mag, I'd probably be sold.I have had the 3.5-21x44 Stryker for a little while now and I am quite impressed. One of the most balanced crossover designs I have seen in a while. Given the price, I literally have nothing to nitpick about. It is sorta frustrating that way.

Japan LOWAny info on where these are made?
Just got it mounted on rifle Thursday. As soon as I get to the range and get some time behind will give a update. How’s the reticle (DLR-1) on 3.5x without illumination?
Any updates on the eye box? @Whistlepigs
Sorry about not updating this guys, I have tore my achilles tendon so not able to get out and do much at all.Just got it mounted on rifle Thursday. As soon as I get to the range and get some time behind will give a update.
If you like the reticle in the 4.5-30 then you'll like 3.5-21.@Glassaholic
I’m sure your review in on site somewhere here, but I can’t find it lol
Any updates on this? I have the 5-30 and absolutely love it.
Want the 3.5-21 for my large frame AR
Sorry, I haven't spent much time with the DMR scopes.@beetroot thanks.
How’s it compare do you think to the DMR3?
Or DMR2 i, since illuminations a necessity.
My first efforts with this scope were not as successful as I had hoped, I have kept it around but other reviews have taken priority and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with this scope.@Glassaholic

Unsuccessful how? Is the scope underperforming or you haven't had enough time with it to know one way or the other? My first efforts with this scope were not as successful as I had hoped, I have kept it around but other reviews have taken priority and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with this scope.
Underperformed for my expectations. So I went back to the drawing board and reset everything - center of travel and diopter and wanted to give it some time and re-evaluate...Unsuccessful how? Is the scope underperforming or you haven't had enough time with it to know one way or the other?
Noticed you sold the unit. Did you end up doing another review before that?Underperformed for my expectations. So I went back to the drawing board and reset everything - center of travel and diopter and wanted to give it some time and re-evaluate...
Yes I did. I will eventually get a review out but have some other items to attend to ahead of the Stryker.Noticed you sold the unit. Did you end up doing another review before that?
Had to make sure he sold it before releasing the review since it was a disappointing optic lol very noble of youNoticed you sold the unit. Did you end up doing another review before that?
Actually no, my family was affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton, I had to go down on a rescue mission to get my elderly in-laws to safety and help with hurricane relief, their home of almost 30 years was destroyed and its been busy trying to get them settled near us. I have a LOW 6-36 comparison (Vortex - Element - Zeiss) that I have to get to before the Delta review. These things take time and I don’t get paid for them so sorry if it takes me a while to actually get a review out.Had to make sure he sold it before releasing the review since it was a disappointing optic lol very noble of you
So sorry to hear your family had to deal with that devastation. I greatly appreciate all your reviews and have certainly made decisions based on them. Your asking price for that scope was more than fair, even if that particular scope didn’t perform as well as you might like for your standards.Actually no, my family was affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton, I had to go down on a rescue mission to get my elderly in-laws to safety and help with hurricane relief, their home of almost 30 years was destroyed and its been busy trying to get them settled near us.
