I work for the same company and I have as close to the same policy as was humanly possible (I have a sick kid I need good insurance or I would be bankrupt) but my policy is now not as good.

No, it wasn't Obama that did this. Our country has been rotting away from the inside for a long time. It's just that the process is accelerating and becoming more visible. Eventually the parasites will overwhelm the productive and we will see a collapse, perhaps a violent one or perhaps just a slide into weakness and irrelevancy like Great Britain.

I listen to podcasts from Canada, USA, UK etc, all experiencing the exact same things. I get frustrated listening to people blame the current local government in their country, doesn't really matter who's in power I feel, two sides of the same coin. Unfortunately it all needs to come crashing down, mass societal unrest etc and we'll see what gets built out of the embers after.

yea,as i have aged,i am thinking no gov is better than any gov. western civ looks about to go as it is unsalvageably rotten. maybe get it right in the rebuild. historically not likely. we are obligate pack animals,like dogs. individuals are mostly unable to survive alone. goes back to the beginning 100k+ years ago. in any group power relationships develop. some votes count more than others. disadvantage of being monkeys and not cats.
