When cleaning my rifle, I noticed a keyhole shape looking down my SilencerCo Omega suppressor. I am not sure if this is by design or if I somehow got a baffle strike. I certainly did not notice or feel anything off while shooting.
I have been using the ASR mount and have attached it to the supplied compensator (with supplied shims). I've only had it for 2 range days and had shot about 50-60 rounds each day.
The attached pictures, in order, show:
1) The flat end cap (looks normal)
2) The back of the suppressor & ASR mount with the keyhole shape
3 & 4) Front of the suppressor with the end cap removed, showing the keyhole shape.
Can anyone with the same Omega 300 suppressor chime in to see if this is normal or not?
This is mounted on a BCM 9" 300 BLK barrel. Thanks.
