Suppressors Did I get a baffle strike on my suppressor?

When cleaning my rifle, I noticed a keyhole shape looking down my SilencerCo Omega suppressor. I am not sure if this is by design or if I somehow got a baffle strike. I certainly did not notice or feel anything off while shooting.

I have been using the ASR mount and have attached it to the supplied compensator (with supplied shims). I've only had it for 2 range days and had shot about 50-60 rounds each day.

The attached pictures, in order, show:
1) The flat end cap (looks normal)
2) The back of the suppressor & ASR mount with the keyhole shape
3 & 4) Front of the suppressor with the end cap removed, showing the keyhole shape.

Can anyone with the same Omega 300 suppressor chime in to see if this is normal or not?

This is mounted on a BCM 9" 300 BLK barrel. Thanks.

I have the same can and while shooting it on a Remington 700
, I had a end cap strike. I called SilencerCo and they sent me a new cap free of charge! Great customer service! I agree, the baffles have that notch in them from the manufacture.

Enjoy your can!
