Gunsmithing Different bedding styles, how do they all work?

So, i read a lot about different types of bedding (which i really don't know much about, i only have AR precision rifles) and i am curoius to how each works? Like, i know what epoxy bedding is, but how do you "glass bed" or "pillar bed"?
