Suppressors Direct Thread

Question - I have a 9 mm suppressor that I swap back and forth between my SBR and my Glock. When used on the Glock I install a Hub device with a piston but not when on the SBR. Is it ok to leave the piston in place and use it on the SBR? I have never seen this discussed. Thanks in advance for the input.

They make spacers that replace the spring so you can use it as you want.

Leaving the spring in risks a baffle strike.

All the suppressor manufacturers recommend switching the spring to a fixed barrel spacer, so that's what I do (rarely). That said, I have eight suppressors, just so I don't have to worry about stuff like that.
