Besides the dual focal plane feature, what is the difference between the discontinued 1-8 PM II ShortDot CC and the current 1-8 PM II ShortDot Dual CC? Is the Dual CC superior in anything else, like better glass or something? On-paper stats are the same if I'm not wrong, and I couldn't find any comparison of the two.
The thing is, I can buy the discontinued non Dual version for just under €3000 (new). If there is just the dual FP feature difference, I'm decided. My only other options are Kahles K18i-2 (gen 2) which costs exactly the same, or the K18i for €2600, or K16i for €2350.
