Do donuts move down the case neck, or are they static? Please state if you've actually seen this, or if you're speculating.
The reason I'm asking is I have a 6.5x55 with donuts ~.280" into the neck (the neck is 0.303" long). If I seat the bullet further out will this permanently fix the issue or will the donuts gradually move down the neck with continued firings?
