Does this make sense ?????

Re: Does this make sense ?????

It's still not clear to me if the oil filter you buy with the adapter is the only oil filter allowed on the adapter (AKA "part of the suppressor", or if the adapter itself is wholly the suppressor, and oil filters can be changed as needed by the end user.

The guy also sells the same product for $55 that's not an NFA item, for "catching solvent" while cleaning...

The whole operation is too sketch for my liking.

Re: Does this make sense ?????

The adapter is the part that must be submitted to the ATF for a tax stamp. As you said, you can use a different oil filter. You could buy the non NFA item, but if you are caught with it and it screws on your rifle has the ability to attach "a decible reducing device" they will nail you to the wall. Just get an Elite Iron Supressor and dont worry about it.
