Hey guys, looking at specs on a few scopes and I'm noticing some things that seem out of place. Keep in mind I'm a novice at this so maybe there's a perfect explanation. Or maybe the specs are listed wrong? I don't know. What do you think?

GPO Centuri
3-18x44i 23.3 oz, 13.3", 90" of elevation, 30mm tube
2.5-15x50i 22.7 oz, 14.7", 110" of elevation, 30mm tube

Doesn't it seem wrong that the 3-18 would be over an inch shorter and only a half an ounce lighter? The strangest thing to me is why it would be so much shorter? Also, with the same tube diameter, why would the internal elevation be so different?

I reached out to my contact at GPO and he replied "I’ll see if I can get answer out of the design team. Yes for sure the 3-18 is way shorter. It’s an amazing riflescope. We will physically put them on a scale to confirm the weight in case we have a spec error.
My feeling on length is this. The 2.5-15x44 is clearly built on a larger length frame, probably because it was designed at a different time or by a 2.5x needing a different optical formula.
I’ll see what I can find out. "
