That's awesome! I can't wait until my little ones are old enough to take hunting and fishing. I think we have a little while though my little girl isn't quite two and my son is still in my belly!

Great shots.....and its great to see kids being taught the way it should be done. They slow us down...add to the work...but make it all worthwhile. We like to fish, too.

It is.....

From last year, my youngest boy, and my little girl ages 9 and 7 then, respectively...with their first deer each.

Should add, per Lil' Helpers...with Lexy's doe both of them were there, and the deer died via bang flop TSX on the far side of a DEEPASS holler. No way my truck would ever get back up out of there, wasn't even going to attempt it. The only other option was to drag it down and up to the truck. Both of them young'uns grabbed on the rope and pulled just as hard as I was. Then, helped me get her in the back of the truck, then helped me get her hung in the barn.

No complaints, and all git up go.....

This is what its all. Passing on all the stuff our fathers taught us. Cant wait for my daughter and son get older,5ys and 2 yrs. My daughter is always helping me when i'm reloading in the gun room. She already called dibs on my car-15. Cant wait.

my little girl (6 in dec) was right in the action when i brought my elk head home from the butcher shop, petting it and grabbing the antlers etc. little pink .22 in the near future. She's always right there when im playing with the bow, and loves shooting my paintball guns. the little guy is only 11 months so a little more wait time for him.
