Tell it to her dad when he gets out of the hospital. Tell it to her mom. I'm sure they'll understand that drunks and addicts have a basic human right to destroy themselves in whatever manner they see fit, and that it doesn't affect the lives of others.

A Park View senior tragically lost her life in a car crash after being struck by an intoxicated driver in North Carolina over the weekend.
Briana Bugg, 17, of South Hill was involved in the crash while traveling with her family in the Hollister, NC area on Saturday.
Bugg was inside the vehicle with her family, including her parents Glenn and Tracy and her sister Meghann, who is currently attending James Madison University.
The family was in Hollister area en route to a JMU football game at East Carolina University when a Toyota Solara, driven by Glenn Ryland, 45, of Hollister crossed the centerline and struck the Bugg’s family vehicle, seriously injuring Briana and Glenn Bugg.
Ryland was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and driving on a revoked license following the crash. Additionally, law enforcement believes he was exceeding the speed limit at the time of the crash. Ryland’s condition was listed as stable following the crash.
A third vehicle was also involved, a Suburban, driven by Krystal Hamledge of La Crosse and occupied by four passengers. Those occupants escaped injury.
Briana was seriously injured in the incident and while she did not die at the scene, she later succumbed to her injuries and passed away.
As of Saturday evening, Glenn Bugg’s condition was listed as serious but stable.
Briana, who attended Park View High School was a member of the softball and volleyball teams, she was the President of the BETA Club and a member of the band.
