Ok everyone, here is the donation post! I have to thank powdahound76 for all his help to set this up.

Last summer a young man by the name of William Duffy was injured in an accident on their family farm in Torrington, WY. Unfortunately, William lost his right arm. We are asking the shooting community for donations so we can build this young man a left handed rifle so he can relearn how to shoot left handed and continue to enjoy shooting and hunting.

We currently have a Leofoto tripod, a Vortex 3-18 scope, and a Thunder Beast bipod all donated directly by their respective companies. Weatherby also donated a shotgun for the boys father.

If you want to donate but aren’t comfortable with electronic funds, please PM me here and I will provide you with a mailing address.

BMC Customs in Arizona is going to be assembling the rifle for us and he has also donated a custom paint job. Go check out his instagram page and his website, he does incredible work.

Last but not least, a huge thank you has to go out to Ben Bercot at Western Whitetail LLC in North Platte, NE. He got the ball rolling on this and we are very excited and humbled to be helping out. Let’s make this happen!

Here is the link to the original post. Thanks everyone!

Last thing I forgot to add, if you do donate, please send me a PM with your name and amount so I can keep it all straight and to make sure we get everyone thanked properly when this is all over.

No I did not. I shot the KRG Extreme as an RO last year and the Nightforce Steel Chalkenge. Shooting both of those again this year. And thank you for the donation!
n/p!

Was just curious, as I met a lot of good dudes that year at that match, and thought you might have been one of them.

Standby on that. I believe we got a stock donated from Manners. Let me get some info. Send me a PM
lol, I’m the guy that gives Tom a heads up on these things since he really enjoys giving back to the shooting community, but doesn’t have time to be on these forum. Let Eli or myself know that last bit of info and I’ll let Tom know. He’s said he’s in💪🏼

Origin short action left hand
M5 bottom metal
Senderro proof profile for a CF
Raw finish if possible so Josh at BMC can do his custom paint/cerakote job if that’s ok? And thank you very much

After work update:
Product donations- Manners stock, M5 bottom metal, left hand 223 bolt face, Hawkins rings.

Donations so far are at $1025. After the purchase of the action from Front Range Precision at $815 we are at $210 still in the fund. We are still working towards a barrel, a trigger, (possibly an ARCA rail, depending on what the manners stock ships with), and a suppressor. We are getting closer to getting this done. Everyone who has contributed and helped so far, thank you isn’t enough. I will continue to update the post as information and donations come in. I will also update with purchases we make towards the build. You all are awesome. This has been a humbling experience to say the least.

I had a great linkup this evening with @Jesse_Nichols88 to throw a little bit towards getting this young lad back shooting. It's a fine thing he's doing and a very worthy cause towards not just a kid who had a shitty hand dealt in life at a young age, but a cause to assist him take part in the same favorite hobby we here on the Hide have - Precision shooting.

I won't publicly share the story he told me about this kid's incredible determination and work ethic without permission, but I'll just say it's damn impressive and humbling. It's something I'll give a little thought about next time I think I'm having a shitty day at work to kick my own ass into gear to get shit done.

If you have the means, please help out and every little bit adds up. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Morning update:
Had some donations come in throughout the night. The fund was up to 600 dollars and we purchased the barrel. Someone was kind enough to pay for half of it, we aren’t sure who did. So after that we are at $240 in the fund. We almost got this knocked out! I’ve responded to messages about the trigger as well.

Ok everyone, lunch time update

The fund is back up to $700
Proof has donated a carbon fiber 6.5 creedmoor barrel and given us a 50% off coupon to purchase a 223 barrel. A member (everyone will be listed and thanked when this is over) has offered to purchase the trigger for us, a trigger tech diamond. We may be splitting the cost on that, waiting to hear back from him on whatever he wants to do there. Another member has donated the M5 bottom metal. Manners donated a Night Stalker stock. We purchased the action from Front Range Precision yesterday. Silencer Central is going to give us 40% off a suppressor of our choice if we get there. If we don’t raise the funds for the suppressor here, they are going to send out suppressor raffle certificates for us to do some money raising here.

We’ve been overwhelmed with the support for this and it’s been hard to keep up but your messages don’t go unnoticed and when I get some time to catch my breath I will be making a list of everyone who supported this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Evening update:
The fund is at 800. We are working on a 223 trainer barrel ( @powdahound76 has some guys looking at that) Until we hear more information in that department, we aren’t going to spend any of the fund money for a few days so we know exactly what it is we need to purchase. I will continue to update this post until we call off the fundraiser. Everyone has been amazing. I’m going to sit down tomorrow and make a list of everyone and the companies who have donated so we can post a huge thank you to everyone involved with this.

Sorry about the lack of updates, work has been a little crazy the last couple of days. The fund is at 875, the barrel and the trigger shipped out to BMC Customs. We also have two mail checks coming and I’ll add them to the total when I have recieved them. Also, this is importnst, PLEASE DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT GUNS if you use PayPal or Venmo. My Venmo was locked out because someone said their donation was for a rifle build. I was able to recover the account thankfully with a pretty stern warning from Venmo about using their stuff for firearms.
