Be glad the stamp never adjusted for inflation. Ouch!of course NFA and ATF need to go. but...if the license for suppressors went away cost would (or should) drop thru the floor. i mean $300 for a piece of sheet metal and some baffles? i have heard many in all calibers and and action types. never heard one that i thought was worth the $500+ OTD. if prices came down to what they should be,i would buy 2 or 3,esp for home def long guns. an AR or AK 74 in the house would be disabling for the shooter unsuppressed. the gov is unlikely to stop the big $ collection, control and surveillance work just because freedom,2A and stuff.
What’s the point of repealing the NFA if you have to do a form 1? That’s still having the NFA.I'd love to be able to form 1 an m16, not sure how much traction this can get tho.

Very true. At the time the tax stamp was imposed, $200 was out of the reach of all but the very well-to-do.Be glad the stamp never adjusted for inflation. Ouch!
