im building a dpms .308. all i need is a barrel, gas block&tube, and some sort of rail. My question is does someone know where the have the SCOUT, light weight teflon coated barrels in stock? i prefer 16 inches becuase its going to be suppresed. also does any gas tube and block work or do you need one specially for the ar10? thnaks for your help

EDITED: I just wanted to clarify my earlier post. I originally indicated that you would need a specific, 308 gas tube. That is NOT correct for the DPMS platform. For some reason, I was looking at this as an AR-10 (Armalite) question and NOT an LR-308. The DPMS rifles use regular AR-15 gas tubes by the same length designations (carbine, mid, rifle). ONLY the Armalite AR-10 requires a longer gas tube.
Also...what do you mean by "Scout"? DPMS doesn't offer a "scout" rifle/upper. Do you mean Sportical? SASS? AP4? The AP4 has a lighter weight profile (similar to an M4 contour found on the AR-15). If you did mean the AP4, there is one for sale in the ARFCOM AR-10 sale forum with the FSB, Gas tube, teflon coated black for $230.
