DPMS LR308 Mag Help?

I am having major mag issues with my new DPMS LR308. I live in Cali so i can only have 10 rounds and i currently have 1 Pmag that has been blocked to 10 rounds.

My issue is the bolt is dragging on the rounds causing it to not shut the whole way....this mainly happens when i try to chamber the first round. If i try one round or even two it works. but if i go to three it's a no go....the first round won't chamber.

Is it the mag? is it the bolt? is it just because it is new?

Below is a little info on the rifle and the ammo

DPMS LR308 upper 24"
CMMG lower
10 round blocked pmag
Running Federal Gold Match 168 grain Sierra Matchking AMMO

Put the mag in without ammo, carefully open and close the bolt, make sure the feed lips are not dragging.

Put three rounds in the mag, push these rounds down as far as you can with your fingers and make sure nothing is dragging, esp. the tips of the bullets.

Measure the OAL of your ammo, it should not exceed 2.820" (a little less is better).

Get another mag and see if you have the same problem.

How is the mag "blocked"??? Check that carefully. It's been known for people to just cut off a wooden dowel rod and stick it in there..... works, but not reliably.
