Rangemaster is from the UK. These folks are known as importers of Euro products. Time to look at several U.S. makers as the source for your steel parts to fill those superb stocks. US accuracy is superb, in many ways better. Chris, talk to Bob, its time to get serious about U.S. sourcing. Throw a Surgeon action, etc. in there and rule the world.

What's the benefit of a 4 lug bolt vs a 3 lug bolt?

Advantages are that it has a very short throw for maniuplating the rotation of the bolt allowing for very fast follow up shots, quicker lock up time and increased safety with the locking lugs in the area of the chaimber as well as added strength.

What's the bolt throw for this action? And is four really more strength than three, or just "overkill"? Or is 3 really all you need?

Is this action compatible with rem 700 style triggers?

You can check the video of the bolt maniuplation during a slow fire 3rd test on our web site main page. Very low Recoil implse is also shown.
Trigger is Rangemaster Precision Arms competition 2 stage trigger that is a user adjustable and is standard on the the Rangemaster Action. I will check on the compatibility with the remington style trigger. Is there a specific brand that you wish me to check on?

4 lug bolt? Won't have to worry about busting your knuckles on your scope with that one...
