New owner of a Stevens 200 here. And yes, it's a brand new Stevens from Academy. I'm looking to replace the factory stock. I know it's the same action as the 110 so in theory a stock made for a 110 should fit? I read all this about stagger feed and so forth but i'm not quite sure I understand enough to spend $100+ on a stock that might not fit. I'm mainly interested in an inexpensive, light-weight stock that's going to be a lot more rigid than factory.

My apologies before hand if this question has been asked a plethora of times. I cannot seem to get the advanced search to function correctly.

And the gun will mainly be a hunting rifle, if that helps.

Re: Drop In Stock; Stevens

easy way to tell is pull the stock off. If the mag stays in the stock it's center feed. If the mag is attached to the reciever it's staggered. All the new savages are center but I'm not 100% sure about the stevens. If your rifle is a long action then the 110 series stocks will fit just have to figure out what mag setup you need.

He's correct. Just pull the two allen head bolt on the action. Lift it up out of the stock and send me a pic. Also tell me the caliber and I'll find you a set of stocks that will work. Also need your price range and if you want wood or comp.

Good luck,
Merritt
