Firearms DTA 308

Early DTA for sale with 22” 308 barrel, mag, and bolt. Good condition just don’t shoot it any longer, but it is a great shooter just like all of them. I have several DTAs and have never seen one that shoots poorly.
I am buying a second home so no trades please. $2150 plus shipping.

Is the gen 1 the one that indexes with a pin

It is a gen 1 and uses the roll pin to index the barrel. This is no problem if you use just a tiny bit of sense installing barrel. Don’t just drop it in and let gravity do the work. Insert the barrel by hand all the way and you will never have a problem. If you can’t do this you will be replacing a roll pin.

It is a Lothar barrel from DTA and 22” length. I will look today but I think that the barrel is new unfired. I ran a 7 WSM barrel and bolt most of the time.

Compatibility with newer a1/a2 conversion kits?

A1/A2 barrels will work with the gen 1. You just need to close the bolt when your torque the barrel screws.
