I'm not shooting rifle much, so looking to move my dra srs a1. 5 barrels, both handguards and the tool, 4 mags, 2 bolts, 34mm scope mount... the works.

Does the 6.5 SAUM cartridge fit in the SA magazine or does it require the LA Mag? I realize it's a short action magnum, but easing my curiosity

It would fit in the sa mag length wise, but you'd need to modify it because the case is too fat. SAC modifies them as a service I think.

I just used a long action mag, and it worked ok. I wouldn't count on it with my life or in a match, but in a controlled setting they seemed to feed fine from LA mag.

lol, you are actually the person I was looking to message (had first dibs on the 308 barrel, and such....thought it was a PM, not a post). Are you passing @Edgecrusher ? It's pretty hard to keep up with everything when there are a lot of pieces and conflicting "packages" being asked for over PM.

Sold forearm, tool, mags, 308 barrel. Left is 300wm barrel, 6.5 SAUM barrel, 6gt barrel, mag bolt, scope mount.

To sweeten the deal, I'll throw in ~100 new hornady 6gt brass with the barrel, and 130 3x fired hornady 6.5saum brass + 10 berger 140 hybrid loaded rounds with the 6.5 saum barrel, and ~100 300wm brass (lake city match) with that barrel.
