EA-18G Growler From Whidbey NAS Crashes East of Mt. Ranier

There is an excellent comment on this video.....

"A ship in New Zealand ran aground, a jet in WA flew into the side of a mountain, and now a helicopter in TX flew into a radio tower. All in the course of a month, and they all have one thing in common. But we wont touch that subject."
Let that sink in.....

And the warning lights on the radio tower were burnt out (had been reported and ignored)
These USMC officers, (men) killed 20 innocent folks in Italy.

Pleny of men have flown their planes into the side of a mountain. If memory serves, Dean Martins son suffered the same fate.

Not saying they weren't DEI advancements, lord knows I saw plenty of that in my 24 years in the Navy.

How many male Naval officers have sank their own ships accidentally ?
I know some have intentionally "scuttled" for solid reasons, but not a single one comes to mind of having done it by accident.

USS Guardian comes to mind.
Throughout Naval History there are plenty of instances of ships running aground, captained by men.
Or, how about one of the most technogically advanced submarines in the world surfacing under a fishing vessel, sinking it?
