It seems the warm weather here in the mid atlantic region is bringing out the chucks and giving opportunity to break in the new 7mm WSM. I normally wait for them to propogate but these are the ones in the bean fields and the farmer doesn't want them to have a chance to multiply.
The 162 AMAX does quite an impressive job to say the least. Both of them were only a tad over 360 yds.

these pictures are making my trigger finger itch! We have whistle pigs in Idaho...there heads go pop with the .17!

Occasionally I'll use my 30-338 Win Mag and 208s on them. You should see what a 208 AMAX will do at 3,000 fps, it isn't pretty.
