I have been away from home for awhile due to school. I remember a few ranges but wonder if they are still there, any new ones, if one is preferred over the other, and cost to go to them?

I remember rifle range road, one at LaFollette, and I have heard of one in oak ridge but never been there.

Gotta be a member of Oak Ridge Sportsman's Association (ORSA) to go to the one in Oak Ridge. It's a private range/club. Cheap though...$120/year.

That is not too bad. Do you know how the range looks?
And I do not know anyone with land in Knoxville. I found someone out in West TN and Crossville we could shoot at but no one in or close to knoxville

Oak ridge is a really nice range. Ive been going there to shoot highpower matches for many years. Check out the match schedule and go shoot and get to know some club members. They are some good people up there, especially in their highpower program. Its a good way to get a member to sponsor your membership.it might take you a few months but its well worth it.
