Economical places to order AR small parts from?

I need to order some specific AR small parts in odd numbers (some for builds, some for spares.) Buying complete small parts kits will result in a lot of leftover, unused parts.
Any recommendations for an economical place to order from? I'm thinking places like Brownells might not be the most cost effective.

Pretty much anywhere is going to charge ground or priority shipping ($7-$10). Your best bet is to wait and buy enough to qualify for free shipping from somewhere or a discount code that can be found online. Brownells and Midway are my go-to vendors mainly because of prices and they usually have some type of free shipping deal or coupon code.

every now and again, if you visit a place that assembles and sells budget rifles, you can buy parts from them.

I got lucky at a local store and picked up 5 pivot pin springs and detents. Always seem to lose one of those lil buggers. I think they charged me about $3 which is crazy high for what you get, but it sure beats shipping costs.

I've bought small parts from Damage Industries and they've worked out pretty well.

I think you are money ahead buying a "KNS Precision Turned Lower Parts Kit" and an Ergo spring kit, and buying the grip, trigger, selector, bolt catch, and mag release of your choice. KNS pins and detents are much nicer than what come in a standard LPK.

They ship fast and use UPS envelopes so it's cheap. I hate Brownells and other places that send you a monster box full of green air puffed bags and a tiny part buried somewhere inside.

Depends what quality of parts you want. Unfortunatley, for high quality small parts (that only a very small or singular entity actually produce) you are stuck with paying crazy money for each or above average for something like a Colt LPK and canabilzing it for parts.

My choice is Brownells. Google Brownells discount codes. They almost alway have a free shipping codes, $$$ off code for purchases above a certain amount or a X% off. Usually the coupon codes I get beat the prices I can get with my C&R license.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Went with Model 1 Sales. They have nice exploded diagrams with numbered parts for their A La Carte ordering system.

Truth be told, I ordered from them before all the suggestions were posted. There are even cheaper options.

Midway was not an option - they charge double what most places do for small parts like detents & springs, roll pins etc.

BTW, a Seekins SP223 Gen2 Billet Lower arrived. What a nice piece of kit! I'm really impressed with the quality.
