Not a tactical competition per-se... but there are so few precision matches up here in Northern New England, that I thought some folks might be interested.

Event is an egg shoot. It's June 12 at Barre Fish and Game Club in Barre, VT. www.barrefishandgameclub.com I have e-mailed them asking for more information and hopefully will have a brochure or similar I can send.

It's not "tactical" but eggs at 200 yds +- are a challenge nonetheless.

So maybe some 'Hiders will be interested in attending. We'll be there for sure.

If this is not an appropriate competition for this forum, I will be glad to remove it.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Very fun and I recommend the next one, which will be August 28th at St. Johnsbury Fish and Game. I'll post details.

I was the only 'tactical' rifle there. Mostly bench rest guns and all shooters were using machine rests. I shot off bipod and bean bag. 200 meters. 15 eggs in 3 relays.

I managed to place second in custom class and about 6th overall out of about 30. Interesting that TRG's go in custom class, even w. no modifications!

It wasn't bad for shooting off an Atlas and a beanbag. But I should have done better. I shot under 2 eggs by a hair... no excuse.

Cheers,

Sirhr
