I dunno what it is, maybe I am getting old--I did work the phone banks in Michigan in 2000 for W, trying to turn out voters or do pitches.
But this texting thing is getting on my nerves. 4+ texts over the last 24 hours saying I hadn't voted yet, can the Democrats count on my vote. (And one for Republican Judges).
Now look here people WHERE AND WHEN I VOTE IS NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS. I especially dislike the 'records' saying I had not voted (I actually did yesterday at 4--last day of early voting in TX). This vote tracking crap is getting out of hand. Yes as a data scientist, I have a part in this, but LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. ( I told em all I voted Trump and (R) down ballot. Don't CA my TX MF).
However, what I would love to see i s a verification that my vote was counted correctly. I have a strong suspicion my vote may go for the wrong person or that I voted in Chicago (I lived in IL for a while) or some other crap. Of course, that violates anonymity, but man the (D) people have done a good job of casting doubt on the election process.
Now I have some business to attend to--my aimpoint is broken and I think my scope in canted. Now is not a good time equipment. Hey 140 gr ELD-M in stock at Brownells tho!
