Eley high velocity

Anybody that normally shoots Eley ammo like tenex or match shoot the high velocity hollow point? It has a black oxidized bullet and I’m wondering if it is the same lube as the others?

Wondering if anyone has tried it for spinners and such where HV would be beneficial

Tried some on a spinner. No advantage.

I tried it as well. Not sure if the lube is paraffin or beeswax , but accuracy was truly uninspiring. Based on the price point and how it felt on my fingers, my guess would be that the lube is paraffin.

I’m pretty sure Eley uses the same lube on all their bullets. As for the high velocity stuff for spinners you need to actually hit the spinner before the extra velocity will help I really like Eley ammo and shoot it or Wolf ME which they also make almost exclusively. The high velocity offerings I tried had crap accuracy though. I have completely given up on any high velocity ammo for my rifles. It just doesn’t perform as well as the standard velocity match ammo.

Eley uses beeswax on Tenex, Match, Edge, etc. Parrafin is the lube for Force, Contact, Action and some others.
