Hi all,

If been looking for an aftermarket trigger for my savage and wanting something flat and light. something about the accutrigger and i just dont work well together.

Appreciate the help!

I can't confirm your request, but I have two Savages with the accutrigger. It was my experience that to find the "sweet spot" you don't adjust it much, and then dry fire it many times to see how it feels. Then, adjust it a little more. Rinse and repeat until you get what you are looking for.

I think it's just the feeling of trying to find the center point on the blade and then always a weird uneven feel. guess lack of aftermarket options is what i get for buying a savage lolol

You can cut the spring down for the center blade and make it real light. This makes it feel much better as your not fighting the blade anymore. I had the factory trigger down to 1.5 lbs and it wasn't too bad.

Unless you spend a BUNCH more money, you will likely spend a lot more money on aftermarket options on most other rifles to make it shoot as tight as that Savage. I have other rifles, but both of my Savages were inexpensive and tack drivers right out of the box. I can live with the sloppy bolts in trade for the accuracy and cheap price.
