Eliminating ESD while using electronic scale

First off, as reloaders, we most likely don't have our equipment in a controlled environment, so static happens. I've read all kinds of claims, one was some type of ferrule that magically made a chargemaster accurate every time to .02gr. Not possible, get some dryers sheets, used are fine, wipe it down once week, or static guard on a soft cloth. And then calibrate often, pay attn. to drift, know your pan weight, when removed needs to read - whatever it weighs.
There are some things that help I'm sure, but diligence with a bounce sheet will really do wonders.

So do you just wipe the pan nd unit down? I have a Gempro that can wander a bit...sometimes tits on for days, sometimes not. Same place on bench, not near flourescents, not plugged in with anything else batteries replaced on a regular basis etc...

The Gempro lasted about two days on my bench before it got the boot. Never got it to stabilize with any trick.

Thanks for the tips guys. I ordered an anti static floor mat that can be grounded, my bench is on a carpet floor. Not long ago, I ruined a gempro 250 by accidentally shocking it. I'm glad it's gone though, I went through 2 or 3 of them. Sometimes they would work well, sometimes not. I just got a Lyman gen 6, works great, it agrees with my rcbs 505, dispenses powder perfectly.
