Hi,

I was just after some feedback on these bipods as I am thinking of pulling the trigger on one but because of the cost I just want to make sure that the guys that use them think they are worth it over some of the other premium bipods on the market today.

Works well in most shooting positions, but not all. I have an Atlas PSR that I use as well because on some barricades the Elite Iron is too wide. But when the situation fits, I really love it.

We have a ton of them in our Classes in Alaska as my partner Marc up there sells them, honestly they make life so easy.

For the PRS guys they want small and fast, but if you want stability and accuracy the Elite Iron Revolution Bipod is pretty awesome.

I just got the new Swivel version to Demo, but have been shooting the original for a while and it's great.

I have one on a DT HTI . 375 CT. I like it quite a bit. My only concern is when shooting uphill or at extreme ranges and deploying the leg extensions it doesn't feel quite as stable as when the legs are not extended. I really like my LRA light tactical on My SRS a1 and would love to try the LRA F-Class on the HTI. The LRA's aren't as "tactical" -being wider under the forearm- as some other models but are extremely sturdy. As for the EI- it is incredibly well built, and Dale @ EI is a fantastic guy.

I had 4 questions for anyone that may be able to help.
1. Is the aluminium version a good fit for my DT SRS covert?
2. Do you think the ring portion could receive damage if it encompasses the muzzle brake of my 16inch 308?
3. I've seen they list a quick detach feature? Does anyone know how that works? And will it utilise the picatinny rail on my rifle?
4. Finally, do the legs only move from the straight forward position to 90° downwards? Or can they travel a full 180° and be stored pointing back towards the shooter? Due to it going on a 26" OAL rifle, I want it as compact as possible.
Thanks to all.

I talked to them a month ago and am pretty sure the 'QUICK DETACH' feature involves Allen wrenches. He told me they were thinking about what I would consider a QD feature, which would be something like the Atlas or LaRue adapter, but at that point it was not near the top of the priority list.

I hope something has changed, these seem very nice, but large, and I would want to remove the bipod for transport.

Copy. Not exactly what I'm after. I emailed them with the above questions the other day, so we'll see what the go is.
