I have one brother who fits that to a tee. Love guns, owns quite a few, wants to own AR10, thinks NRA is a terrorist organization and that I am a conspiracy theorist because Im a 2A activist.....

Of course he lives in Wyoming were the laws are lax and unlikely to stiffen and in a very low crime area.

All you really need is a bolt gun, right? Who needs an AK-15 or AR-46 for hunting? What's wrong with everyone having to re-certify every year or two, like the police do? Common sense gun control, man.

That's exactly how it will be too if they get semis. Stupid hunters can't see that their bolt guns are sniper rifles and their shotguns are machine guns that fire 20 bullets with each trigger pull.

Bans are bad enough but this back door red flag/mental illness / universal back ground check/ prohibiting offenses bs is how they will do us in. F anyone that supports that crap. No free man shall be disbarred the use of arms. If they are that bad put them back in the insane asylums you shut down. Cars and chemicals are much more dangerous than guns and we don't ban people for life from accessing them because they have ptsd or get depressed occasionally or got convicted of some bs misdemeanor that carries a heavy max penalty.

Jesus don’t get me started on gun owners and the bumpstock ban. I don’t even own nor have I ever owned one. Slipping these into NFA which I think is the current plan is a dangerous precedent. Next will be the AR 15 and AKMs......

When I heard GWB say that, I couldn't help but think there was something more sinister going on than what it appeared to be.

That was right around the time of the "Patriot" act, which was anything but patriotic. Maybe some more learned folks can correct my understanding, but my sense was his position was much like that of his father.

"You're either WITH the NWO, or you're against it."

I, unequivocally, am against the NWO.

Crazy people can't be trusted with firearms, and felons made bad enough of a life choice to become prohibited.

Other than that, whatever "gun control" I put up with — where I am — is just about as much as I'm willing to tolerate.

I'm pissed that others have seen worse. I don't like the fact that others elsewhere have been forced to surrender firearms and certain accessories. I don't like the fact that the Second Amendment has been whittled to shit and I consider the NFA and the GCA both, as well as the AWB, et al., to be unconstitutional infringement.

I am not a fucking Commie and I am not an Anti, and if you said that to my face, I'd probably wind up behind bars.

The time may well come soon for us to defend the Constitution en masse. Better to realize that we all have a Rubicon point that would see us unite, rather than to spout divisive shit and belittle others.

Or are you just like the Commies, ready to murder those without enough dedication in their self-righteous eyes?

Supporting prohibiting offenses regardless if they are misdemeanors or felonies and or supporting background checks is aiding and abetting the commies/antis.

And depriving someone of the ability to defend themselves is shameful. Idgaf about past criminal history they should be in jail if they can't be trusted. Mental cases should be in institutions.
Letting them slip the tip in with "mental illness" means you get fucked in the end. They decide what is mental illness and they decide what is a prohibiting offense.

The bump fire stock bullshit brought out lots of antis in the gun community which was pretty disconcerting. I think bump fire stocks are one of the stupidest gun accessories there are simply because all you need to bump fire a semi auto is a finger and recoil. However, it IS a GUN accessory and therefore part of the gun world and therefore should be left alone. When I see stupid shit in the gun community such as "I have no desire for [insert gun name here] so therefore I don't care if it's banned or not" it brings my piss to a boil! We are all suppose to be Second Amendment brothers and sisters!
