    Elon Musk has expressed interest in buying MSNBC as the liberal network is said to be struggling.

    'How much does it cost? The SpaceX boss wrote on X on Friday, reacting to a post that falsely claimed that Comcast is selling the network.

    Donald Trump Jr had tagged Musk on the false news, writing: 'Hey Elon Musk I have the funniest idea ever!!!'
    As X users reacted to Musk's post, the X owner added: 'The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely.'

    Back in 2017, Musk similarly asked what the price of Twitter was.

    Four years later he purchased the platform for $44billion and rebranded it as X.

    It comes as Comcast is spinning off into a new company many of the cable television networks that were once at the entertainment giant’s heart as consumers increasingly swap out their cable TV subscriptions for streaming platforms.

    Bad move if you are Elon... let MSNBC go tits up....

    Go after CNN because that brand is valuable!!!! And if Elon can make it politically-neutral (I don't like partisan news either way)... then awesome!

    But there is no 'real' brand in MSNBC. It won't have a Musk-following.... But the CNN brand is multi-generational gold like Pepsi or Jeep... at this point. If Elon can grab that one, he will have broadcast gold!!! And from all the rumors... CNN is in play, bigtime!

    If I could be Elon and own CNN... my number one GOAL... would be to use the network founded by Ted Turner to cover &^%$#ing Jane Fonda's death as a National Holiday!!!

    Just let MSNBC fizzle and die and take all the leftist commie investors (contradiction in terms, right?) with them!!!

    The viewership of all legacy media is miniscule and dropping like a rock. Several internet streaming programs had more viewers on election night than several of the msm channels, msnbc was among the losers. The generations of people who sit around for hours every day listening to propaganda on repeat have/are dying off. Nobody trusts them anymore. People want to be able to scroll the headlines in real time, then read or watch further the 3% of the stories they actually care about. Elon is too smart to waste money on one of these legacy media companies. I think he's doing this just to shake them up. They know that the buzz it would create if one of them did sell out to him, would probably be the coffin nail for a few of them. RFK AND Trump will attempt to make big pharma advertising illegal. They are the primary source of income for these channels, and if they can't send them billions every year, they are finished. Even Soros and the Koch brothers are walking away from them as they become less effective. They are circling the drain.

    If Mr. Musk wants to do news he might as well just start a news section for X (FKA Twitter). He already owns that and might as well add value that way and drive platform engagement. The MSNBC brand at this point has to be worth negative money and he should be able to pick up any talent he needs from the unemployment line, it's not like there is demand for reporters and media workers have many other options.

    Making pharma advertising illegal is going to be tough…

    Because it was a court case (first amendment) grounds that got pharma advertising legalized in the first place.

    They said… if they can ban tobacco advertising… they can find the loophole to yank pharma advertising.

    The whole pharma industry changed when they were allowed to target potential consumers… not just doctors. That changed in the early 1990’s IIRC. And suddenly patients were demanding the drugs from doctors and it was game on!

    The left will regret attacking Rogan over the covid shit. He's probably responsible for at least exposing some of their recent greatest hits to a group of people who may not have been paying that much attention otherwise. I wish he had endorsed Trump a year ago, but I have no doubt that the Elon, Tulsi, and RFK collaboration was a result of Rogan's podcasts and his popularity. I hope they give him the press secretary job for a couple weeks as has been threatened, and Alex Jones too.

    I want to see Alex Jones rip the masks off some lizard people, expose Sandy Hook as a govt op, and rip big Mike's pants down in front of rolling cameras. He misses sometimes, but if he was playing baseball, he'd have double the batting average of the best guys in the baseball HOF.

    And to make matters worse they keep coming up with new " conditions". I suspect they crank out a pill,....someone says what's it do?     Precisely.... IIRC, the folks with the Viagra patents filed the suit because they knew that pecker-raising drugs were going to make them billions.

    The FDA fast-tracked Viagra, too... because those old fucks could not wait to get their hands on boner pills.

    After that it was game-on!!!
