ELR match round count

What is the typical maximum round count for an ELR match? How many pieces of brass should one get when they get into ELR? 50?100?etc. thank you!

I’ve seen as high as 180 with the riflemans team challenge ELR shoots. Those aren’t really ELR comps in my book but some of them do go to 2k. I typically go with 100 brass for my setups and that often gets me though a barrel. Hope that helps

I keep a minimum of 200 for all my rifles. That’s a starting number for the batch. Sometimes you lose one or for some other reason have to toss one. This leaves me with almost always having enough empty on hand to load it all for a match

I shoot a monthly ELR match that has 3 targets in these approximate ranges 1800/1900 , 2100,2200 and 2590/ 2650 yards. The format is you get 10 rounds with 1 sighting round per distance so a total of 33 for the match.
