When thanking sponsors after a match, what email addresses do you use? Some of the smaller companies are easy as they only have one, but some of the bigger ones like Bushnell just have a general web form or like Nightforce has 5 different email addresses. Does anyone happen to have a list of email addresses they use for thanking sponsors? I want to make sure the emails of appreciation go to the right place and not a black hole where no one sees it and then the companies think that shooters don't appreciate their contribution and stop supporting the matches.

Hi,
I cannot help you with direct emails but would suggest that if you "do" social media then thank them publicly on those. That way more people interested in the industry and that companies products will see a "Thank You" from someone that attended a match sponsored by said companies.
The more public "Thanks" are given, the more the companies get a return on their sponsorship investments.

Theis has the best idea, if you are on Instagram, FaceBook &/or Twitter. Tag the sponsors in your thank you message.

You will get a reply with most companies with their canned emails. I've received replies from Magpul etc. that were obviously personal replies. Obviously there are some places that might email back the same day. I like letting match supporters know when I picked something they made up off a table and how I'm using it. Companies listen, especially when they know the item they put up is getting used and not just put up for sale.
Like PGA43 mentioned, posting on Social Media gives them more return because it's much more visible. It's nice to give the company a bit of help and let them know directly that their marketing dollars are having a tangible effect.
