One of the bands that I wish I had gotten to see live. They broke up just as I became aware of them.

Stop Making Sense was a great rock movie!

But to have seen them at CBGB or similar... would have been amazing!

If I had a time machine... one of the places I would visit is a Blondie concert at CBGB in the 1970's. That would have been amazing. Alas... I was about 13 when they were in their heyday....

Cheers,

Sirhr

P.S. Missed this with coffee. Watched it with a cheeky IPA. Still good!

Rapture live is amazing. If you dont already have it, you should dig around & see if you can find it

None of the live material from back in the day featuring Rapture is particularly pleasant to the ears. This is advertised as HQ.

Live from Glastonbury in 1999:

Funny, I didn't even think about the Rap aspect. It had been a while since I last heard Rapture, so I had to go listen to it again (to hear the Rap). I Had forgotten all about it. You may be more convinced than I am that Rapture is the song that opened the floodgates on Rap. But, I wholeheartedly agree with you that Rap is terrible. However, if it were a choice between listening to a Hillary speech or Rap, Hillary loses....
